Tom Winter is a Dorset based artist specialising in oils.

Upon completion of a two year BTEC in General Art and Design at the Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design, he went on to train for four years at the prestigious Slade School in London (UCL). Here his was tutored in life studies by the renowned artist Euan Uglow.

Tom emerged with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Fine Art and the Sunday Times/Singer Friedlander Watercolour Student Prize.

Over the years, he has successfully carved a name for himself as both a figurative and landscape artist working in oils, watercolour, pen and ink, graphite and as a printmaker (lino and intaglio).

Asides from his professional life as a freelance artist, Tom is also a Visiting Lecturer in Life Drawing at both Bournemouth University (Computer Animated Arts and Computer Technical Arts BA Degree courses) and at the Arts University Bournemouth’s Short Courses:
